Matansa tried to withstand the Tan Holdings onslaught but after nine minutes of continuous attacks, THFC’s Minul Hoque broke through and found the back of the net for a 1-0 lead.

This further boosted THFC’s morale as they scored three more goals courtesy of Anthony Bergancia who delivered at the 15th, 20th and 24th minute marks for a hat-trick and a more comfortable 4-0 lead.

The halftime break reignited THFC’s fire as they lit up the scoreboard throughout the second half. Marico Clarides notched a goal at the 45th minute mark and was followed by Bergancia’s fourth contribution 10 minutes later for a 6-0 lead.

Matansa finally scored thanks to a sneaky shot fired by Jerome Mettao at the 56th minute mark.

But THFC retaliated with Hoque and Bergancia connecting two more goals at the 61st and 69th minute marks to secure the win, 8-1.

Kanoa vs Shirley’s

Kanoa Football Club bagged their fifth win by demolishing Shirley’s Football Club, 15-2.

In the first half, Markus Toves carried Kanoa with two goals delivered at the 10th and 12th minute marks.

Shirley’s Bennatton Haro scored a minute later which triggered a flurry of Kanoa goals: Tyler Omelau at the 20th minute mark; Toves at the 22nd and 25th minute marks; and Branson Santos at the 24th minute mark for a 6-1 lead.

In the second half, Shirley’s was shut down completely as Kanoa exploded with 10 more goals. Leading the assault were Leland Deleon Guerrero and Toves with four goals each while Paul Lizama added icing on the cake with three more goals for a blowout victory, 15-2.
