Southern United FC silences MPU FC in women’s soccer


Southern United Football Club silenced MPU Football Club, 5-0, in Week 2 of the Flores-Pee Luwal (Intermediate) Division A in the 2022 Dove Women’s League last Oct. 23 at the NMI Soccer Training Center in Koblerville.

Keisha Deleon Guerrero of Southern United was the star of the game as she rolled the ball past the goalie four out of the five times Southern United scored. She completed the hat-trick 42 minutes in and was immediately followed by teammate Kina Rangamar.


Deleon Guerrero had one more goal up her sleeve as she scored the fifth and final score of the game just two minutes later. MPU FC had no gas left in their tank as they finished the game empty.

Shirley’s FC 3, Paire FC 2 In a close game against Division A’s Shirley’s Football Club and Paire, Shirley’s managed to nose out Paire, 3-2.

Shirley’s Marrielle Gariguez broke through the net in the eighth minute and just 10 minutes later, teammate Mikayla Lopez brought them up, 2-0.

Paire finally found their footing in the 22nd minute to bring them to a 2-1 game. However, Gariguez scored her second goal and the team’s last point in the 23rd minute.

Paire still had a chance to catch up but it was too late as Paire’s Sharlette Casil scored their second and last goal in the 48th minute for a final score of 3-2.
