Kanoa FC roars past Eleven Tiger FC in MSL

Kanoa Football Club roared easily past Eleven Tiger Football Club, 5-1, in the only Division A game for the Marianas Soccer League Fall Season 2022 last Sunday at the Northern Marianas Soccer Training Center in Koblerville.

Sebastien Manabat coasted swiftly across the field to find the back of the net, just five minutes into the game for the first goal for Kanoa. Teammate Brian Lubao replicated his efforts in another five minutes bringing them up early in the game, two to nil.

It seemed like Eleven Tiger was asleep through the first half of the game as they could not put anything on the board besides a goose-egg, with Kanoa already looking for their third goal. Jhoey Noble looked and found the goal as he put up Kanoa 3-0 in the 34th minute.

Eleven Tiger still hasn’t responded as John Canape scored the fourth goal for Kanoa in the 43rd minute, followed by a long silence in the second half of the game.

Then Manabat, who had tamed the crouching Tigers already, roared through the goal post once again for his second goal and the last point for Kanoa to bring them up five to zilch.

Finally, with the shot clock winding down, Eleven Tiger’s Tanapon Unsa scored their only goal of the game, for the final score of 5-1.
