Tan Holdings wins MSL Division ‘A’ title

THE Tan Holdings Football Club won the Division "A" title of the Marianas Soccer League after shutting out the Paire Football Club, 5-0, Sunday at the NMI Soccer Training Center in Koblerville.

It was a fairly even first half as both teams played as equals. The back and forth action never stopped until the 42nd minute mark when Tan Holdings’ Brandon Tenorio scored a goal for a 1-0 lead by halftime.

In the second half, THFC picked up where they left off with four more goals.

Starting at the 54th minute mark, THFC’s Isiah Hossain acted as a spark plug with a solo goal. Team mate Ronnel Ocanada scored at the 65th minute mark before Hossain completed his hat-trick by scoring at the 69th and 84th minute marks to secure the win for THFC, 5-0.
