Kanoa FC 1 currently undefeated in girls U13


Kanoa Football Club 1 is currently undefeated heading out of Week 7 of the TakeCare Youth Soccer League Fall 2022 last Nov. 5 at the Northern Mariana Islands Soccer Training Center in Koblerville.

Kanoa worked the field against Matansa Football Club to beat them, 8-2, with Beatrice Gross, Aubrey White, and Elikristiana Iglecias shooting two goals each.


Teammates Hayven Moteisau and Ye Lynn Ha completed the seventh and eighth goal, with Matansa unable to fire back. Aylssa Borlongan scored Matansa’s two goals, with her teammates at a loss to assist her.

Matansa is right behind Kanoa’s undefeated record of seven wins in the standings with four wins and two losses.


Tan Holdings FC-1 11 Kanoa FC Team-2 0; Southern United-1 11, Southern United-2 0

Tan Holdings Football Club 1 and Southern United 1 defeated their opponents with the same modus operandi, loading their firing squad to aim, release, and fire 11 goals, incapacitating them to score none.

Tan Holdings’ Kaye Anne Costales took charge of the battlefront and scored five goals, with teammates Angel Calayag scoring three, Xyriel Jade Costales scoring two, and Shaina Angela Malanzo scoring one.

In parallel, Southern United Team 1 defeated its sister team with Rosie Jean Saralu in the forefront with eight goals. Her other teammates scored the other three goals.

In the standings, Tan Holdings FC 1 has four wins and two losses; Kanoa FC 2 and Southern United 2 are in the gutter with no wins, one draw, and five losses; and Southern United 1 has five wins and one loss.


Paire FC 4, MPU FC 2

Paire Football Club doubled the goals of MPU to defeat them, 4-2.

Phoenix Gross of Paire soared through the field to complete a hat-trick, with the fourth goal from Alana Hayes. MPU’s Addalee Taflinger and Yun Hee Woo scored the team’s two goals.

Paire has a 3-1-2 win-draw-loss record, while MPU is at two wins and four losses.

U13 BOYS MPU FC Blue 4, Matansa 2; Kanoa FC 5, MPU FC Pink 0

MPU Football Club split their games, with the Blue team victorious over Matansa Football Club, 4-2, while the Pink team went radio silent against Kanoa Football Club, 5-0.

The Blue team’s Stephen Seo broke through the net in the fourth minute, with Matansa’s Justin Garde retaliating in the ninth. Matansa’s Prince Espiritu scored the second and final goal in the 20th minute, with the team gassing out and ending the game on empty.

Meanwhile, the Blue team’s Quido Jambor and Pedro Tomokane scored their team’s third and fourth goal.

On the other hand, Kanoa FC shushed the Pink team, with Gil Rooney scoring two goals. His teammates then scored the last three goals in the second half while cricket noises were heard over in the Pink team’s offense.

MPU FC Blue is still on top of the standings with five wins, one draw, and no loss, Matansa is at two wins and four losses, Kanoa FC is in second with five wins and one loss, and MPU FC Pink Team is in third with three wins and three losses.


Shirley’s FC 3, Tan Holdings FC 1

Shirley’s Football Club defeated Tan Holdings Football club, 3-1.

A pair of Pinos—N.J. and Mayten—scored Shirley’s two goals, while Kimason Cabrera scored the third goal.

The lone goal for Tan Holdings came off the cleat of Jerz Navarro.

Shirley’s has a 1-5 win-loss card and Tan Holdings is right above them with two wins, one draw, and three losses.
